A yin practice exploring the shoulders and upper body. Deeply listen to your body and modify when needed, especially if you have any discomfort in the shoulders. Yin is the practice of holding shapes, with the use of props, for extended periods of time. It gives the practitioner a chance to examine the feminine side of the practice—working into joint space, connective tissue, and emotional bodies—or examining the lunar nature of your existence. As with all yoga, the poses are offered as vehicles that lead to greater insight into the potential of the body, breath and mind. Self-love with no guilt or judgement is the ultimate goal.
